It was going to just be about the birds and stuff since it was shaping up to be such a beautiful day...but then I started thinking - and this is proof of what happens when Tai starts to think (I actually didn't even have any idea of what this poem was going to end up saying as a whole - I just started writing it - line by line): The morning fog is lifting now The sun streams through the trees. A bird sings merrily on a lofty bough - The flowers nod to the breeze. And the bubbling brook by me flows With such consistancy Even when the weather is bad, I suppose - The water streams on - to it's destiny. Yet, as I look on it strikes me That, as beautiful as it sounds, The water is not truly free; It cannot escape the bank's bounds. Would it be more of a happy thing If it could rise up and flood this town? Or does it cause more hearts to sing To hear it's content, bubbling sound? Being under the control of another force May, at times, seem monotonous, But when we follow the given course That is when He can use us. Well, that is all I have for now - it was great that y'all could come to our house for YSOS!!! If you want, you could read the last post, too - it is mostly just what seminars I am going to at Youth Camp. P.S. If you look above, where I usually have song lyrics scrolling, you will see that there is a "ticker thing" that is counting down the days until Youth Camp - cool, huh?! ~Tai Kwan Do

Tai Sophia PLEASE LEAVE ME A COMMENT IF YOU HAVE TAKEN THE TIME TO STOP BY - I'D LOVE TO KNOW WHO VISITED! I am 18 at the moment. I am a Christian and I love God and all he is doing in my life... even if I can't understand it all right now. I enjoy doing many things - which, some might say, makes me easy to get along with...maybe. I enjoy playing my violin, reading (lots), writing, art, animals, friends, and SINGING IN THE SHOWER!!! God's grace is SO amazing! What I'm Reading Favorite Verses Friday, July 14, 2006 Lessons From a Stream Hmmm...since no one was interested in my last post, it seems, I am posting here a NEW one!
