Our gifts weren't really expensive (or even close), but they all (or almost all - lol) came from the heart. I did get a 4 version (KJV, NIV, NASB and Amplified) parallel Bible I have been wanting for a while and a 1 Gigabyte disk for my PDA - so now I can take videos with SOUND and play MP3s and get programs and stuff (my dad got it like 1/2 off at Wal-Mart - lol)! I also got a book with stories about Godly women from before and lessons we can learn from them and stuff.
My brother gave me makeup (lol - I don't really wear too much makeup, but I like to mess around with it), lots of hairbrushes (Yesssss!) a big hand mirror, an inspirational plaque for my wall, Bethany Dillon's newest CD "Imagination"... and I think something else I'm not remembering.
My dad gave me the 321 Penguins video "Carnival of Complaining", tracing paper, my 1 GB disk, and Ultimate Stratego (for 2 or 4 players... it's a neat game, we had the original Stratego) and both Ben and I "2210 AD Risk" - it is SO awesome... if you've ever played regular Risk, this is like 10 times better! (I won...)
My mom got me socks, more socks (I can always use socks), A very nice lamp that she got at a yardsale with a lady playing a violin under it, the book I was talking about, My AWESOME Bible (I can't wait to whip it out at caregroup or something - lol), PJ pants... and some other small stuff - like candy!

My nana gave me a LED headlamp (so I wouldn't be afraid to walk our dog in the dark...) and $10 with which I purchased a game for my PDA from ebay.

My FAVORITE part of this Christmas was when my mom opened her (one expensive gift) that dad and I had split the cost of to get her. It is a painting done by her uncle (who is a phenominal painter - hey, that must be where I got it from - I wish). He (her uncle)had donated it to an art store, so we had to pay for it - though he WOULD have given it to us if it hadn't been at the store. It was of a Burmese lady with a baby on her back and a sack of rice in her hand. She is sad. My mom liked it (and cried for a half-hour over it) because she was in Burma and Thailand and she really wants to go back someday. PLUS she had wanted to buy it (well it was in Virginia that we saw it - when we went there this summer - so she called them from home and wanted them to ship it to her), but we had the lady there tell her that she was sorry, but it was already sold. So, she was sad about that, but she didn't know that dad and I had bought it! When she read my card to her on Christmas day that went with it, and then saw the package, she cried because she knew what was in it... AND I got a video of that moment with my trusty PDA!

ANYWAY, I guess enough rambling. God is good - and don't you forget it!
(Oh, one last thing - my brother got the "Little Joe" Veggie Tales movie, and I have had the "Bellybutton" song stuck in my head so much!!!
