Hmmmm... where do I start? WOW! My life has been just like a whirl-wind lately...it's just like I'm spinning in circles, but I know God is taking me somewhere, despite the fact that I can't see where.
- Debate on Monday was pretty good... besides the obvious fact that I was SO lost... I got the book though, so now maybe I'll understand more about "rebuttals" and "1NA" etc. lol
- YSOS was GREAT! I really enjoyed myself! I got to talk to everyone again (does anyone besides me think I laugh too much... just curious). I am learning that I need to learn more about humbleness than I first thought. Yup, God is definately working on me! I talked to:
- Delian
- Jarred
- Alex
- Rachael
- Chris
- Ok... one of the college students - about the Fall Fest... I'm forgetting her name... so let me know who you are if you are reading this!
- AND OTHERS... um, I don't exactly remember which other people I may have talked to in short conversations.
- I am learning SO much from I Kissed Dating Goodbye and Boy Meets Girl (thanks for letting me borrow that, Delian!!!). It is SO awesome to re-evaluate why I believe what I believe.
- Thursday I had a wonderful orchestra practice! I got to sit in front and that always makes such a great difference! The first violins were aweful, though! They had some bad attitude problems... and the worst thing is that they are mostly homeschoolers!!!
- Saturday (The "Fall Fest") was great too! Even though my legs got SOOOO sore from chasing those "croquet balls" and "golf balls" it was great to see happy kids - it made me happy. I must say, though, the Turkey in the Straw game was a nice break... though I SOMEHOW got stuck running Chicken Croquet AND the golf game towards the end of the day... BOTH of the ones where you have to chase balls!!! Somehow I also wound up on the Cornfields' video camera several times - nooooooo! I am so aweful in front of a video camera if it is like on the spur of the moment... unless I'M the one taking the video - me likes that!
- Sunday was great! The message was great, and afterwards we went to the Wilburs' house and watched a Wallace and Gromit video and played Capture the Flag. Fun, fun!
- I almost finished the Fellowship of the Ring movie again (what is it... the 500th time?). I got to Lothlorien and then I had to do something else... so I haven't finished it yet. Ohhh, I know something else: I am going to get a PDA/Pocket PC with some of the money I saved from working at the Wren's Nest (oh yea, I quit working there a week or 2 ago, because some, um, not-so-good stuff was there... I felt I didn't need money enough to stand around in a bad environment - I DID do my own subtle wittnessing there though [though I have learned that wittness in a noun - not a verb... think about it].
Well, tata my friends, until we meet again (tomorrow night - care group?)!!!

I am a Christian and I love God and all he is doing in my life... even if I can't understand it all right now. I enjoy doing many things - which, some might say, makes me easy to get along with...maybe. I enjoy playing my violin, reading (lots), writing, art, animals, friends, and SINGING IN THE SHOWER!!! God's grace is SO amazing!
What I'm Reading
Humility: True Greatness by C.J. Mahaney
Discovering God's Will for Your Life by Ray Pritchard
Doing Things Right in Matters of the Heart by John Ensor
Valley of Vision, a collection of Puritan prayers and devotions
Brother Cadfael mystery series: "Monk's-Hood" by Ellis Peters
Favorite Verses
Proverbs 3:5-8
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord, and turn away from evil. It will be healing to your flesh and refreshment to your bones."
